Write a short narrative about a time in your life when you believed one thing to be true, had an experience that proved otherwise, and ultimately changed your mind as a result of your experience. Remember this is a narrative, so it should read more like a story than an essay. - begin in the middle of dialogue
- create the scene with descriptive words that set the tone
- use imagery to help your reader imagine the setting
- include details near the beginning of the story that will become relevant later on (foreshadowing)
